SMS Terms & Opt-In Disclosure — Iris Financial

Program Description

Iris Financial sends transactional SMS notifications to opted-in users of the Iris Financial platform at irisfinancial.tech. This program covers transaction alerts, donation processing confirmations, payment notifications, and account alerts exclusively through the Iris Financial platform. This SMS program is separate from and fully independent of all other Iris Secure products. Consent collected here is never used for communications from irissecure.tech, Iris Workplace, or WeMeet.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity — up to 4 messages per month on average. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-In Methods

You may opt in by:

  • Checking the SMS consent checkbox on the Iris Financial signup or account settings page (unchecked by default — affirmative opt-in only)
  • Texting your organization's unique giving keyword (provided by your church or nonprofit) to our number to begin a guided giving conversation
  • Replying START, YES, or UNSTOP to resume messages after a prior opt-out

Consent is not a condition of any purchase, donation, or use of our services.

Exact Opt-In Consent Language

The following text appears next to the consent checkbox at point of enrollment:

"By providing your mobile number and checking this box, you agree to receive recurring account, transaction, and donation-related text messages from Iris Financial (Iris Secure Technology Solutions LLC). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to unsubscribe. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation."

Opt-Out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. Additional opt-out keywords: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages unless you re-enroll. You may also opt out via your account settings or by emailing [email protected].

Reply HELP to any message.

Program Keywords

  • Opt-in / resume: START, YES, UNSTOP — plus your organization's own unique giving keyword to begin a giving conversation
  • Opt-out: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT
  • Help: HELP, INFO

Note: YES serves a dual purpose. As shown above it can resume messages after an opt-out, and within an active giving conversation it also confirms a pending gift — for example approving a repeat gift of the same amount when we detect a possible duplicate. In that transactional context, replying YES authorizes that specific gift and is not a general marketing opt-in.

Donation Disclosure

Text-to-Give uses a guided, reply-based conversation — not payment links texted to you. After you begin (by texting your organization's giving keyword or replying to a prompt), we ask how much you would like to give and, where applicable, which fund. For your first gift you complete payment once through a secure, single-use card page; with your permission your card is then securely saved so future gifts can be completed by simply confirming by text. We may ask you to confirm an amount before a gift is charged, and if a saved card is declined we will send a secure link to update it. Donations are processed on the receiving organization's own payment account; Iris Financial does not add fees to SMS donations. Standard message and data rates from your carrier still apply.

Privacy

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data collected on this platform is never shared with or used by any other Iris Secure product. For full details see our Privacy Policy at irisfinancial.tech/privacy-policy.

Supported Carriers

AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and all major US regional carriers. Iris Financial is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
